The Great Smoky Mountains Salamander Ball is a masquerade ball and fundraising event based on the children’s book of the same name by Lisa Horstman. The event at Zoo Knoxville features live music by The Vibraslaps; Smokies Critter Parade of costumes; silent auction; local beer, wine and Pollywog Punch; hors d’oeuvres from Holly’s Eventful Catering; and free zoo admission with purchase of Salamander Ball ticket.
