The University of Tennessee School of Music will hold its annual Gala with a jazz club-themed celebration of UT’s 225th Anniversary. All contributions from the black tie event will fund scholarships to attract the best young musicians to UT thanks to the sponsorship of Pilot Flying J. The evening will feature entertainment by School of Music students and faculty. A cocktail reception with open bar, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. with entertainment throughout and live auction to follow.
