UT Culinary Institute: RJ Rockers and Gypsy Circus Cider – POSTPONED
Join Carol Costello, director UT Culinary and Catering Wine and Beer Program, as she hosts Adam Ashcraft from RJ Rockers in South Carolina and Knoxville’s Aaron and Stephanie Carson from Gypsy Circus Cider to learn about the beer and cider world. RJ Rockers became Spartanburg’s Original Brewery in 1997, helped revitalize downtown with their Original Brew Pub on Morgan Square and now produces beer in a solar-powered microbrewery. Gypsy Circus is the South’s most awarded cider made from 100% locally-sourced fresh pressed apples with a line of varying flavors. A buffet will be prepared to pair with the beers and ciders.
