Actor Dennis Quaid will be in Knoxville for an exclusive benefit screening of “Midway.” A catered reception will be held in the Pinnacle lobby before Quaid walks the red carpet. After the red carpet reception, the movie will be screened. “Midway,” which will be in theaters Nov. 8, centers on the Battle of Midway, which marked a pivotal turning point in the Pacific Theater during WWII. The event is a fundraiser for Variety – The Children’s Charity; the local chapter of the organization, Variety of Eastern Tennessee, was founded by Regal Cinemas in 2001.
