The 2nd Annual Policy Forum will feature two dynamic speakers that aim to educate the community on legislative issues affecting women and girls throughout Tennessee and how to be an effective advocate. Jeannine Carpenter works to find solutions that strengthen individuals, families, economies and whole communities where she lives; and then she works alongside elected officials and policy makers in Tennessee and Georgia to make positive change. Sara Beth Myers is general counsel for Operation Light Shine, a nonprofit that builds and supports law enforcement task forces to prevent human trafficking and child exploitation.
