Young-Williams Animal Center will hold its ninth annual fall benefit and dinner, “Cause for Paws,” a fundraising event for the nonprofit animal shelter and official intake center for Knoxville and Knox County. The benefit will feature cocktails in the garden, live, music, dinner, appearances by furry friends, and silent and live auctions. As the municipal shelter of the City of Knoxville and Knox County, the shelter takes in more than 11,000 lost, unwanted, abandoned and neglected animals each year and depends on animal lovers and fundraisers to provide the best quality of life while these pets are in the shelter’s care.
