The YWCA Tribute to Women, now in its 36th year, honors the achievements of outstanding women in Knoxville and the Tennessee Valley who empower women, eliminate racism and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The honorees are recognized in seven categories: Arts and Culture; Business and Industry; Community Enhancement; Education; Emerging Leader; Racial and Social Justice; and Science, Technology, and Environment. Enjoy a celebratory reception at Club LeConte at 5:30 p.m., and celebrate the honorees with the formal awards ceremony at the Bijou Theatre at 7 p.m. Attire is business or dressy.
