Don Sproles Memorial Evening ‘Wine and Shine’
The annual Don Sproles Memorial Wine & Shine, a benefit for the Volunteer Ministry Center (VMC) now in its 13th year, features wines and Sugarland’s Distillery moonshine tastings, food pairings, buffet, live music, and silent and live auctions. Attendees must be age 21 or older. Proceeds from the ticket sales directly support the programs of the Volunteer Ministry Center.

Volunteer Ministry Center’s Carry the Torch Knoxville
Carry the Torch Knoxville is an annual event that features speakers who have an impact on the issues of homelessness, mental health and families. The 2025 event will feature Chamique Holdsclaw, a former Lady Vols basketball and WNBA player who won three national titles while playing for the late Pat Summitt and an Olympic gold medal in 2022.
