Members and friends of James White’s Fort are invited to a complimentary luncheon to hear about accomplishments in the last year and what is being planned next. The annual event, now in its seventh year, is one of the best Halloween parties in Knoxville with a costume ball, best costume contest, silent auction, dancing and food, wine and beer. James White’s Fort, Knoxville’s First Home, will be converted into a 1700s graveyard on the west lawn. Must be 21 and over to attend. Tables of 10 also will be available for purchase.

James White's Fort will host a ghostly drop-by Halloween Bash featuring the haunted courtyard with maybe living and not living activities, costume contest and the "Spirits of James White's Fort" at their best. The event is for adults ages 21 and up. A $20 ticket includes event admittance, finger foods and one token for a adult beverage; additional tokens may be purchased for $5.

Historic Homes of Knoxville (HHK) will hold a celebration of the city's 229th anniversary at James White’s Fort with cupcakes, beer and wine, door prizes and live music, along with a special announcement from members of the Historic Homes of Knoxville about the 225th Tennessee Statehood Series.
