Symphony at the Garden
In partnership with the Knoxville Symphony, the Knoxville Botanical Garden hosts a free evening of music that invites community members to discover pockets of music throughout four garden spaces on the property, with a culminating set in the Rita Johnson Garden where KSO musicians play as the evening light fades and the sun reflects on the floor to ceiling windows of the Dogwood Center.

The annual Green Thumb Gala, now in its 16th year, is a major fundraiser for Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum. This vibrant event features cocktails, silent and live auctions, garden tours, seated dinner and more. Cocktails begin at 5 p.m., followed by 6:30 p.m. dinner and 7:30 p.m. live auction. Attire: garden party.

East Tennessee Community Design Center Celebration
The East Tennessee Community Design Center (ETCDC) will hold its 2025 celebration at the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum. ETCDC has collaborated on multiple garden projects over the years, including preservation planning for the Howell House at the Knoxville Botanical Garden. The evening celebrates community design and supports the vision of better communities through design. Additional details to come.

Hats in Bloom
The annual luncheon is a fundraiser for the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum and features the new spring collection of designer hats by milliner Patricia Frankum, champagne reception and seated luncheon. Top Hat tickets allow early entry at 10:30 a.m. for the champagne reception with Bloody Mary’s and an advance showing and sale of Frankum’s hats. Attire: Dressy, business, business casual, garden chic with hats encouraged.
