"Books, Beer, & Banjos" will benefit The University of Tennessee Press at the University of Tennessee Libraries and support the Scot Danforth UT Press Director Endowment. Named for retiring press director Scot Danforth, the endowment supports excellence in academic publishing by providing necessary funds for publication and marketing costs and the implementation of innovations that address the rapidly changing landscape of scholarly publishing. Nourish Knoxville’s Winter Warmer is the annual fundraising dinner and celebration of the winter harvest. The evening features a cocktail hour, silent auction and plated dinner.
