Blount Mansion will hold its first-ever seated Christmas Dinner to highlight the fresh period Christmas decorations done annually by the Knoxville Garden Club and to raise funds for education projects. This will be Blount Mansion's first-ever seated Christmas dinner. Dinner is by Northshore Brassiere with all courses having specially selected wines. Seating is limited to six tables of eight. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow.

The "William Blount Book Talk" will be held inside the Blount Mansion Visitors Center with Dr. Christopher Magra, a history professor for the University of Tennessee. Randy and Jenny Boyd and Blount Mansion staff and volunteers will hold a ribbon-cutting and celebration at the Craighead-Jackson House to celebrate a makeover of the 203-year-old house next door to Blount Mansion. The Boyd Foundation grant funding has been used to restore windows, refinish hardwood floors, repair plaster and install a new restroom and breakroom inside the house.
