The Dream Connection will hold its yearly fundraiser to gather resources needed to fulfill the dreams of children in our East Tennessee area with life-threatening or chronically debilitating illnesses. The Dream Connection is an all-volunteer board that works to build play structures, coordinate meet and greets with celebrities, schedule vacations of a lifetime and more. The Rotary Foundation of Knoxville will hold Rotary on Royal: A New Orleans Inspired Evening. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will start at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. with music inspired by the Big Easy. The Rotary Foundation of Knoxville donates more than $50,000 each year in support of college scholarships for local students, arts and culture organizations and local teachers and provides grants to to several community organizations.
