The Hazen Historical Museum Foundation will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mabry-Hazen House operating as a historic museum with an invitation-only luncheon to recognize supporters over the years.

Mabry-Hazen House will host its second annual Fourth of July Celebration with a a great view of the fireworks show, food and live music. Tours of the historic home will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. Alcohol is BYOB. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Attendance is limited to 200. Parking available.

The Mabry-Hazen House will host a dinner in partnership with Heartfire Culinary to experience the tastes, ingredients and culinary history of Knoxville in the 1920s. Guests will enjoy a seven-course meal with appetizers, specialty cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages and coffee prepared by local chefs, Chris Cantrell and Amber Lloyd of Heartfire Culinary. Each course will reflect the culinary experience of that time period. Mabry-Hazen House will host Lineage & Legacy, which seeks to recognize local Mabry descendants. This year, guests will enjoy a one-act play based on the later years of Evelyn Hazen. Guests can enjoy light refreshments, live music and tours of the historic home. In addition, the event also serves as the annual meeting of the membership. Elkmont Exchange and Mabry-Hazen House will host the premiere of "Night at the Museum," an event to explore the stately 1858 house and its original collection of thousands of artifacts from the 1780s-1960s in an informal atmosphere. Last Days of Autumn Brewing has donated the brews for "Night at the Museum: Porch Party," which features lawn games, such as bocce, croquet and cornhole, and behind-the-scenes tours of the bottom floor of the historic 1858 house.
