UT Gardens Gala, A Rainbow of Iris
On Friday, April 25th, enjoy drinks, hors d'oeuvres, music, dinner, and live and silent auctions at the UT Gardens' second annual gala, A Rainbow of Iris, presented by HGTV HOME. This year the Gardens are celebrating their designation as Tennessee's State Botanical Garden by featuring the state flower of Tennessee, the bearded iris. Also meet Vern Yip, HGTV host and designer, who will be our celebrity guest and emcee.

UT Gardens Gala

UT Gardens Gala will hold its fourth annual fundraising event to benefit the academic and educational programs of UT Gardens. Leadership Knoxville Annual Homecoming
Leadership Knoxville will hold its annual fall homecoming event, which is by invitation only to the newest class members and alumni of all leadership classes (plus a guest). The event will be held at UT Gardens underneath the McIlwaine Friendship Pavilion because of the weather forecast. The annual fundraiser for UT Gardens will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Gardens. The event will include live music, silent auction, drinks, hors d'oeuvres, seated dinner and live auction. Art in the Garden Exhibit Opening
UT Gardens will unveil this year's annual Art in the Gardens exhibit of Fanciful Foxes: A Garden Exhibit. More than forty 3-D fox silhouettes have been painted, embellished and otherwise adorned by local artists and are on display throughout the Gardens. The exhibit also includes a children's exhibit where aspiring artists show off their imagination. The exhibit will be open through September when all pieces will be auctioned to support UT Gardens. The Gardens & Grape Wine Festival, held by UT Gardens and Tennessee Farm Winegrowers Alliance, will feature wines, ciders and meads produced across Tennessee. More than a dozen wine producers will be on hand to offer tastings and sales of their products. Food trucks, craft vendors and live music also will be available.
