The Greater Knoxville Hospitality Association (GKHA) luncheon features the presentation of the annual PAULY Awards to hospitality/tourism professionals, companies and individuals, plus presentation of scholarships to students enrolled in hospitality/tourism/culinary at the University of Tennessee and Pellissippi State Community College. National Travel and Tourism Week is celebrated during the first week of May as a way to shine a light on the industry. During this week, GKHA recognizes the “Stars of the Industry” who excel in providing customer service and are shining examples of hospitality. The PAULY Awards are named in memory of Paul Sherbakoff, a mentor and leader in the Knoxville hospitality industry.
