Guitarist Bill Frisell teamed up with Michael Gibbs, one of his former Berklee College of Music professors, and the famed NDR jazz orchestra of Germany in 2015 to record a full length recording of music for big band. The fruits of that recording will be performed live in the United States for the first time at this special event with the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra.
