The Knoxville Museum of Art will host an opening reception for “Scenic Impressions: Southern Interpretations from the Johnson Collection.” This exhibit features more than 40 paintings from the extensive holdings of the Johnson Collection in Spartanburg, South Carolina, which examines the history of the Impressionist movement and its influence on art created in and about the American South. A cash bar will be available.
