Scruffy City Orchestra will present its 2023 spring concert, “A Composer’s Sketch.” Led by Ace Edewards, the orchestra is part of the Cathedral Concert Series at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Knoxville. This spring’s program includes Sevillaña, Op. 7 by Edward Elgar; D’un Cahier D’Esquisses by Claude Debussy; and Finish Sketches, Op. 89 by Aleksandr Glazunov. It ends with a rousing performance of Symphonic Sketches by George Whitefield Chadwick. Admission is free; donations are welcome.
