Scruffy City Orchestra Fall Concert

Enjoy an evening with “Time and the Mountains” during Scruffy City Orchestra’s Fall Concert, part of Sacred Heart’s Cathedral Concert Series. Led by Dr. Ace Edewards, the performance celebrates the 200th birthday of French composer César Franck by featuring his magnificent Ce qu’on entend sur la montagne (What You Hear on the Mountain), one of the first symphonic poems ever created. The program also includes Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copeland; Ouvertüre zum Der Beherrscher der Geister by Carl Maria von Weber; Symphony No. 101 by Franz Joseph Haydn and Romanian Rhapsody No. 1 by Georges Enescu.

Admission is free with donations welcome. Reserved seating is requested through Eventbrite.
