Beardsley Community Farm Solstice Supper
The Solstice Supper, a farm-to-table dinner, will be prepared by The Plaid Apron owner, Drew McDonald, and served at his restaurant in Sequoyah Hills. The supper will include locally sourced ingredients, including some of Beardsley Farm's produce. Guests will learn about the farm, meet volunteers and share their gardening and cooking experiences. Yo Soy Centro Caribbean-Inspired Dinner – POSTPONED
(As a proactive measure against the COVID-19 virus, this event has been postponed.) Centro Hispano will hold its second Yo Soy Centro dinner, a four-course, Caribbean-inspired gastronomic experience prepared by Chef Drew McDonald from the Plaid Apron. The dinner is a benefit for Centro Hispano and its vision of every Latino and Latina in East Tennessee thriving culturally, educationally and economically. Vegetarian options also are available.
