The annual dinner of The Alexis de Tocqueville Society is an invitation-only event for a special group of United Way of Greater Knoxville supporters, each of whom contributes more than $10,000 per year to the cause.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Knox County will hold an event to benefit the organization, which provides books for children. The event, called “Under the Big Top," will feature carnival-themed games, food and drinks, entertainment and a live auction. The gala also will honor a special supporter of Imagination Library, Tennessee’s First Lady Crissy Haslam.

The annual Saints’ Gala at The Episcopal School of Knoxville is a significant fundraiser for  the independent school in Knoxville and attracts community-oriented Knoxvillians committed to supporting education. The 2017 theme is "Feria de Abril," or April Fair, and will feature Spanish culture and food.
